ABOUT

Theresa Parent was born and raised in Minnesota. After earning her degrees in Equine Management, Business Management and Industrial Relations, she moved to Fairbanks in 1991. An avid lover of the outdoors, she enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking and taking Girl Scouts camping. The Parent family has been heavily involved in both the Boy Scouting and Girl Scouting programs for many years and have both an Eagle Scout and Gold Award earner in the family.
Theresa has been teaching American Red Cross CPR and First Aid in the Fairbanks area for the past 10 years to local Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and businesses in the area. Currently she is the only Red Cross Licensed Provider in Interior Alaska which allows her to teach Red Cross certifying classes at your location. As a long time, committed member of our local community, Theresa will be here to provide you with continued training and recertification.
Base Camp is dedicated to bringing quality First Aid, CPR and AED training to you. Classes can be taught at your facility or one provided by Base Camp. Evening and weekend classes are available for individuals, groups of less than 6 participants or business partners that can’t be available for weekday classes. Base Camp is locally and independently owned.

“Theresa Parent is an extremely experienced professional with a depth of health and safety experience. Partnering with local businesses like Base Camp provides the perfect way to deliver Red Cross training to our less urban communities while ensuring that students get the quality of training guaranteed by the Red Cross through years of service and ongoing research and development.”
